Scotland elopement videographer

Relive the magic of your elopement story

Scotland elopement videographer

Do you find yourself getting teary-eyed watching a romance film?

If so, our highlight videos are tailor-made for you. Unlike traditional wedding or elopement films, which can often run quite long, these 5-10 minute films artfully curate the best parts of your day and turn them into an emotive cinematic keepsake.

Maintaining the intimacy of your elopement, you won’t need to enlist an additional supplier, it will remain just Dave and myself.

Together, we’ll craft a video that’s as unique and beautiful as your journey together and mirrors your cinematic elopement photography. Are you ready to immortalise your moments, ensuring they last a lifetime.

Sami + Conner

I don’t think there are words enough that express how joyous we feel. We’re SO happy and teary-eyed at how beautiful your video is! The way you captured a story of our two days together so effortlessly (although I am certain due to much, much skill and effort on your part) and the way you made it look like an actual fairytale movie is just incredible.

That’ll be your friendly neighbourhood Dave… he switches from being your second photographer to your videographer for the whole time. Meaning you don’t have to add another person into your intimate guestlist. He’s been a Scotland elopement videographer since 2020.

I know it’s a little daunting to think about being filmed all day. Unlike photography, the scope for what can be ‘fixed in post’ is very little. So it’s really important you show up on your day with the energy you hope to receive. This means looking after yourself in the run-up and giving yourself the best start to the day.

Highlight videos turn out best when you are fully present with each other and not focussed on how photos + videos will turn out. And an extra wee tip which we’ll remind you of… keep on movin’. Humans are rarely completely still so let your inner fidget/boogie/cheeky comment run free!

Your video will be ready within 12 weeks.

Unfortunately not. We will choose music to suit the ‘feel’ of your day and hope you’ll trust us to do this in an appropriate and artistic way. We do this for a number of reasons but an important one is that we’re restricted in what music we have access to. To respect artists and keep us right with the law – we use music that we’re able to legally license through a couple of different music providers like MusicBed or Audiio. This usually means we won’t have access to mainstream music choices.

If you have any thoughts or concerns about music please chat to us in advance of editing so we can take that into account whilst we select the music.

We use professional mics which attach to your clothing. This can be tricky for people wearing dresses but we do our best not to interfere with how your outfit looks.

Unfortunately no. Dave The Videographer is only available as part of a Raini Rowell Photography package.

Our process for editing your highlight video means that we don’t provide any preview until it’s fully polished and ready for you to see. We promise it’s worth the wait!

Absolutely! Dave is a trained drone pilot. We will add drone videography to your final video where the weather and conditions allow.

We don’t offer this as part of your Highlight Video add-on. However if this is something you would like, please chat to us about options.
